Here's what's coming up at MIFDA:

May 29 - AGM
We'll have our Annual General Meeting on May 29th, starting at 8:15. The meeting will be followed by request dancing at about 9:30. There is no drop in fee that night.

June 5 - Quick Review and Band
Everyone is welcome. $5 drop in fee. Bring a water bottle and comfortable shoes.
We'll be reviewing the 6 dances taught since April 10 and having a performance by the MIFDA band.

June 12 - No Dancing
There will be no Friday night dancing on the 12th, as we rest up for the Windup on the 13th!

June 13 - Windup
Our end-of-season windup will take place on Saturday, June 13th at the Willow Retreat building in the Oak Hammock Marsh Interpretive Centre.

Time: We have the building booked from 3:00pm to 11:00pm. Feel free to explore the marsh and come by the retreat to enjoy the deck and visit.

Meal: We'll have a potluck dinner, aiming to start at 6:00pm. There will be a BBQ available for those are into that sort of thing. The facility does not allow outside alcohol.

The building includes a kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge, plates, glasses, cutlery, etc. which we can use, provided we clean up after ourselves.

Dancing & Singing: After the meal we'll do some dancing (all request), and when we're tired of dancing there may be some singing. If you have a copy of "Rise Up Singing" and an instrument you'd like to play, feel free to bring them along.

Directions: Your best bet is to take Highway 7 or 8 North until you get to Highway 67. Turn onto #67 (East from #7, West from #8), continue until you reach Highway 220. Turn North on #220 for about 4km.

Cost: Since there is an additional cost to rent this space, we are asking people to pay $10 to attend. You can pay at the door, or pay Kathy in advance at Friday night dancing.
