International Folk Dancing is a wonderful activity—one of the best things you can do for yourself, body, mind and soul. However, sometimes the learning curve can seem a bit daunting. That’s where our beginner classes can help.

We’ll go over some basic steps and techniques, learn some simple dances, and generally get you moving in new ways to new types of music.

The classes will be offered as 4 week sessions, and will take place at St. Paul’s Anglican Church on Friday evenings at 7:00 pm (just prior to the main MIFDA dance evening). The cost is $20 per session, but comes with free admission to the MIFDA dance evening.

The next session will start on October 2nd. Sessions may be cancelled if there is not enough demand, so if you’re interested, please register at mbfolkdance@gmail.com.
